Community Living Camp Report : KELIKOTTU 2022 The Community Living Camp is a compulsory programme of BEd. Curriculum. As part of it, we the teacher trainees of BNV College of Teacher Education, Thiruvallam have decided to conduct a five-days Community Living Camp in our college from 21st February 2022 to 25th February 2022. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions we decided to conduct a non- residential camp, and so that we had to exclude some aspects of the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Smt. M. Ishwariamma, the Chairperson of BNV Group. Our camp was named as "KELIKOTTU 2022". The theme of the camp was "Athijeevanathiloode Madangam Prakrithiyilekku". The essential qualities required for the teachers like Life skill training, positive thinking, effective communication, mind power, stress management through mindfulness, socially relevant aspects etc. were the highlights of the camp. TEACHING PRACTICE - WEEKLY REFLECTION DATE : 06/07/2022 to 08/07/2022 SCHOOL : GOVERNMENT HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, KULATHOOR THIRUVANANTHAPURAM STANDARD : IX SUBJECT : SOCIAL SCIENCE The second phase of teaching practice for the student teachers of 2020-22 batch began on the 6th of July. By this Friday, I had successfully completed the first week of teaching practice. A group of eight people including me, went to Govt. HSS Kulathoor. TEACHING PRACTICE - WEEKLY REFLECTION DATE: 08/08/2022 to 12/08/2022 The sixth week of my teaching practice started on Monday. This week went by so fast. It was a very special week, because we had a lot of experiences. Sheeja Ma'am came to school for Libi's third observation on Monday. Ma'am made good comments about her class. On the same day, a special program, named "Satyameva Jayate" was organized in the school for the students of U.P section. The aim of the program was to expose the truth and lies in social media and give awareness to children. We also participated in that event. Another program was held at the school on Thursday. It was the inauguration ceremony of various clubs in the school. The program was conducted in the auditorium.
