WEEKLY REFLECTION ON TEACHING PRACTICE
TEACHING PRACTICE - WEEKLY REFLECTION
DATE : 15/08/2022 to 20/08/2022
The seventh week of my teaching practice started on 15th Monday, when the country celebrated its 75th Independence Day. We all reached school at 9am for the Independence Day celebration. There were special programs and an Independence Day rally in the school. We participated in the rally with the children from school to S.N Library. This Independence Day celebration was very precious for me. Because so far I have only celebrated Independence Day as a student. Apart from that, participating in the celebration as a teacher with the students was a different experience for me. Not only that, It was also a proud moment for me.
On Tuesday I was conducted achievement test for the students. Everyone wrote the exam very well. Wednesday was Chingam 1. On that day, we all wore set sarees and went to the temple and then reached the school on time.
Friday was our third observation. Rekha teacher came to school in the morning to observe our classes. Later Suni teacher also came to see Greeshma's class. Also in the higher secondary section, Anupama teacher came to observe the classes of Lakshmi chechi and Yadheena. By noon all the teachers went back after completing three observations. They gave good comments about our classes.
This Saturday was also a working day. But very few children came to school. So I completed the 7th week of teaching practice very successfully. I have completed 30 lesson plans along with Achievement test and Diagnostic test. We have only one more week to spend in this school. I was able to interact with all the students. I will miss them a lot. I am praying that the next five days will not end soon.
