           TEACHING PRACTICE - WEEKLY REFLECTION


           DATE: 01/08/2022 to 05/08/2022


           The fifth week of my teaching practice started on Monday. I didn't go to school that day because I had fever. On the next two days, the government declared holidays for the schools due to heavy rain. So I didn't have to go to school for 3 days this week. A few days later, I went to school on Thursday. I didn't have class as per timetable that day. The children came and talked with love and affection and they asked about my health. I was very happy to see their concern. 

               I got an opportunity to take two classes on Friday. Lekshmi ma'am came to school on that day afternoon to observe my class. Then I taught about volcanoes in geography portion. I also had a working model to show the volcanic eruption. Lekshmi ma'am commented well about the class. I then had the joy of having succeeded in my efforts. 

               After so many weeks, I am able to maintain a good relationship with all the children. I could understand that every students is treating us with a lot of love and care. Every classes went very well by this week. There are only a few days left. I wish I should able to get closer to the children and should know all their needs before the school days are over.

      Community Living Camp Report :  KELIKOTTU 2022 The Community Living Camp is a compulsory programme of  BEd. Curriculum. As  part of it, we the teacher trainees of BNV College of Teacher Education, Thiruvallam  have decided to  conduct a five-days Community Living Camp in our college from   21st February 2022 to 25th February 2022. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions we  decided to conduct a non- residential camp, and so that we had to exclude some  aspects of the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Smt. M. Ishwariamma, the  Chairperson of BNV Group.  Our camp was named as "KELIKOTTU 2022". The theme of the camp was  "Athijeevanathiloode Madangam Prakrithiyilekku".           TEACHING PRACTICE - WEEKLY REFLECTION                DATE: 08/08/2022 to 12/08/2022 The sixth week of my teaching practice started on Monday. This week went by so fast. It was a very special week, because we had a lot of experiences. Sheeja Ma'am came to school for Libi's third observation on Monday. Ma'am made good comments about her class.  On the same day, a special program, named "Satyameva Jayate" was organized in the school for the students of U.P section. The aim of the program was to expose the truth and lies in social media and give awareness to children. We also participated in that event.  Another program was held at the school on Thursday. It was the inauguration ceremony of various clubs in the school. The program was conducted in the auditorium.
